SUPPORTING IMPACT, WOMEN'S VOICES (WOMEN'S HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE)

We are currently seeing unprecedented changes to the environment we have to work in - particularly health. This event will help women’s groups understand what the changes mean for them.
This conference offers a women-only space to:
≈ Understand what current health reforms & restructuring look like;
≈ Understand how to engage & influence local structures to ensure that women & girls’ health needs are met;
≈ Meet with key decision makers;
≈ Identify opportunities & challenges & how to respond;
≈ Capture key messages to inform policy makers & advisors; and share experience of engaging health services & lessons learned.

WOMEN ON BOARDS: GETTING STARTED, REALISING YOUR BOARD POTENTIAL

Cost: £175 WOB subscribers; £250 non subscribers
Women on Boards is back in Bristol again to run the highly successful Getting Started workshop on the morning of 23rd May. Places are limited to 20-25 in each workshop so register early to avoid disappointment.
The workshop covers strategies for board and career development. Participants learn about what it takes to be a director, how to include board work in their career and how to choose the sectors that they might sensibly target. The workshop is practical, strategic and highly interactive. It is suited to people:
Looking at long-term career options
Thinking about or already on a board
Seeking strategic and practical advice.
Participants will be engaged and supported by the Women on Boards team during the workshop and gain access to the support of the wider Women on Boards network.
