GENDER DISCRIMINATION IN THE WORKPLACE
With the help of Bristol Women's Voice, Avon and Bristol Law Centre's Tackling Discrimination Service are running a workshop focussed on issues affecting women in the workplace. This will cover issues such as sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, flexible working requests, maternity rights, dependant leave and zero hours contracts.
Mothers with children are welcome.

SPEAK OUT AGAINST EMOTIONAL ABUSE
Event opened by Waterloo Road star Richard Mylan.
What is emotional abuse and who does it affect? Currently teenagers face abusive relationships more than at any other time. Speak Out Against Emotional Abuse encourages young people to talk about issues that affect them online and offline, whether it's bullying or other abusive relationships.
Free event with food, music, and speakers including Brook, Avon & Somerset Police, The Mentality Project, Girls Making History and The Bristol Ideal.
